Hello Families,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

We are at the end of 2023 year and we’ve learned so much this year and we are excited for what the next year will bring. December is a busy month at Kids Konnect so please read through our newsletter to stay up to date with what is happening at our school. As we move into the holiday season, please let us know if your family is planning on taking any days off of work so we can staff accordingly.

Quick Reminders:

If your child is showing signs of sickness or runny nose, please keep them home until healthy and no longer showing signs or symptoms so we can maintain a safe environment at school. Please keep them home until they are symptom free for a full 24 hours and fever free for a full 48 hours before returning to school.

· As the weather turns colder, please bring a thicker jacket for the children to wear for when we go outside.

~We are also encouraging the parents to please stop bringing snacks in the classroom. We have found some leftover snacks in the cubbies. We will provide our morning snack and our afternoon snack as always. We appreciate your understanding. This will help maintain our classrooms clean.

~Please make sure to take water bottles home daily and sheets and jackets at the end of the week to wash.

~We do encourage parents to label your child's belongings, it is a licensing requirement.

Thank you for joining us in our Fall Festivals last month, we enjoyed learning about leaves, nature, and celebrating Halloween together! Just a reminder that our SPIRIT Week is next week and we are having our Halloween event on Tuesday, October 31st!

In November, we are excited for our classrooms to celebrate the Autumn Season and the Thanksgiving Season, we'll be learning about the harvest, kindness, and being thankful.

Parents Night Out: This month our Parents Night Out date will be 11/17/2023 (Friday) and will be hosted by Teacher Lisandra and Teacher Mony. I'll have sign ups posted at the beginning of the month.

We are welcoming a new teacher into our infant classroom: Ms. Fabiola! She loves to engage with the children, create learning activities and imaginative play and has worked with children for over 10 years. In her spare time, she likes to go on hikes, the beach, and loves to paint. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome.

Curriculum in June

Happy June! Summer is on it's way (official ly on June 21st) and KKP San Leandro is ready! More sun, more water, more fun! Each week the children will engage in a fun and new study topics. As the weather heats up, the children will engage in more water play activities. For more information please refer to your classroom curriculum calendar. We look forward to all the fun we will have in June!
